摘要
Buoyant particles, when added to a settling suspension, cause all heavy and light material to quickly segregate laterally into separate fast-moving streams. These streams convect particles vertically at up to six times normal settling rates. Enhancement is greatest with the most concentrated suspensions. © 1979, American Chemical Society.
