摘要
In SE Alaska, uprooting is the predominant disturbance influencing stand development in Tsuga heterophylla - Picea sitchensis forests. Decomposition rates were not significantly different between pits and mounds, but cellulose filter papers within the organic layer lost 33.7% of their original dry mass, and packs within the mineral layer lost 14.5% of their mass. The greater organic accumulations observed in pits are probably largely due to litter redistribution. -from Authors
