摘要
The residual carbon content of milk samples was determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) to evaluate the effectiveness of dissolution procedures. An ICP-AES method was established by using the C I 193.091 nm emission and Myers-Tracy signal compensation with Sc II 424.683 nm reference. Optimum working conditions were found with a detection limit of 2.4 mg dm-3 and RSD 2%. A spectrophotometric Cr(VI) reduction method was compared for the determination of the total carbon.
