摘要
A Lur'e-type Lyapunov function for multimachine-power-system-transient-stability analysis is derived by using a different formulation of the system equations from that used in a number of recent papers. The resulting Lyapunov function is equally valid for uniform and nonuniform damping. A proof is supplied for the maximum region of stability afforded by this Lyapunov function.
