(Cd1-xMnx)3AS2 (CMA) is a semimagnetic n-type semiconductor with E(g) congruent-to -0.095 eV. Magnetic susceptibility measurements in single crystals Of CMA show that in weak applied fields (H less-than-or-equal-to 300 Oe for x = 0.10) values of chi(dc)(T) for samples cooled in zero magnetic field and in a field are different below T(f) almost-equal-to 200 K. This behaviour is observed in compounds with x greater-than-or-equal-to 0.04 and is attributed to presence of large magnetic clusters in the sample. From the data of the thermoremanent magnetization it is suggested that some of them can remain up to temperatures much higher than T(f).
