摘要：

The walking distance in 155 patients with intermittent claudication was measured on a treadmill at various speeds and angles of inclination. The results were compared with the claudication distances noted in the patients' histories. No correlation was found between the two values. It is concluded that the subjective walking distance cannot be used as a quantitative measure of the patient's walking ability, and therefore of the stage of the disease. © 1968, SAGE Publications.
