摘要：

The transition from molecular hydrogen to the metallic phase is considered. At the equilibrium pressure the metallic phase is in the superconducting state and the protons form a distorted h.c.p. lattice. Under the influence of the zero point energy a phase transition from the solid into the liquid state occurs with increasing pressure. © 1969.
