ELECTRIC-FIELD INDEPENDENT MOBILITIES IN MOLECULAR-CRYSTALS

摘要
It is experimentally demonstrated that the electron drift mobility among the c' direction of anthracene and naphthalene is independent of the electric field to high electric fields (≈17 V/μm)at low temperatures (≈100 K). These data provide additional evidence against the applicability of small polaron models to molecular crystals and provide a challenge to recently proposed hopping models of charge transport which can account for the temperatures independence of the drift mobility. © 1979.
