摘要
In fluidized bed combustion (FBC), relatively few large and lighter coal particles are fluidized with the more dense and smaller sulfur-sorbent bed particles. As a consequence, the coal particles are expected to move in the bubbling bed alternatively associated with its bubble and emulsion phases. With this in mind, the single particle receding core model is extended to include the effects of the interphase movement that the particle would see under normal FBC conditions. The results show that the particle temperature will undergo oscillations which may be significant in determining the fate of ash during FBC.
