Results of experiments are described in which the technique of ultrasonic imaging by Bragg diffraction was used to observe internal detail in an aluminum plate and in a tropical fish. In addition, the extension of the Bragg technique to reflection and dark-field imaging is described. © 1969 The American Institute of Physics.
