Over the past decade, advances in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and increased availability of NMR spectrometers have led to the application of NMR to a wide range of problems in many fields, including environmental chemistry. Complete assignment of carbon and proton resonances is a prerequisite for using NMR spectroscopy to monitor changes in chemical structures during the course of biochemical and biological experiments. Several corrections and additions to previously published C-13 chemical shifts of pullulan and isomaltose are reported here. In addition, the H-1 assignments of isomaltose are presented.
