摘要
The product testing phase of the IMPELA(TM) family of accelerators is complete and commercial production has begun. The prototype accelerator built at the Chalk River Laboratory has been operating at 50 kW for over 2 1/2 years and has provided the information base for the new product engineering and production team. A first commercial machine has been commissioned at the Cranbury, N.J., plant of E-Beam Services, Inc., and is now in service at full power. Technical performance data and the implications for future radiation users are presented.
