摘要
Unmated L. branchialis do not reach metamorphosis; those of L. pectoralis produce eggs, but these do not develop. Morphological changes are initiated by seminal fluid following copulation. Habitat preference seems to be little affected by mated status, but the time female L. branchialis spends in her intermediate host depends on the number of copulations. -P.J.Jarvis
