摘要
A number of realistic separable nucleon-nucleon interactions have been used to calculate the binding energy and saturation density of nuclear matter The binding energy is calculated to first order in the reaction matrix using self-consistent single-particle energies for occupied states and zero potential energy for unoccupied ones In all cases the saturation occurs at too large a density and with too much binding energy In comparison with local potentials, all partial waves compare favorably except the 3S which gives too large a contribution to the binding energy The large contribution is attributed to a weak tensor force which generally leads to a strong central force in the 3S system and thus overbinding in nuclear matter This weak tensor force is evidenced by the small deuteron D-state probability (PD < 3 %) for all of the separable potentials considered here. © 1969.
