摘要
The preparation and photoelectrochemical properties of polycrystalline n-type TiO2 electrodes doped with various amounts of beryllium are reported. The photoassisted electrooxidation of water at some of these electrodes starts at potentials negative vs. the hydrogen electrode in the same solution. The quantum efficiency and current vs. potential characteristics of Be-doped photoanodes appear to be significantly improved in comparison with the un-doped TiO2 electrodes. © 1979, The Electrochemical Society, Inc.
