VELOCITY STRUCTURE OF THE ORION-IRC2 SIO MASER - EVIDENCE FOR AN 80 AU DIAMETER CIRCUMSTELLAR DISK

摘要
We measured the relative positions of the 86 GHz SiO maser features toward Orion-IRc2 with an accuracy of ±0″.015 using the Hat Creek millimeter array. Maser emission appears to originate from an 0″.15 diameter ring. A simple model of maser emission from an expanding, rotating disk is able to reproduce the observed velocity structure of the ring.
