QUANTUM POTENTIAL IN THE WIGNER PHASE-SPACE

摘要
The Wigner phase-space approach is applied to a one-dimensional problem of a square pulse scattering off a potential step. The "quantum potential" which controls the movement of a phase-space point of the Wigner distribution function representing the pulse is determined for the case in which the mean energy of the pulse is sufficiently high that the motion is not significantly different from that of a free wave packet. The causal picture that results from the Wigner phase-space approach is analyzed within the framework of the standard interpretation of quantum mechanics. © 1990.
