摘要
The de conductivity was studied as a function of temperature (T) and composition (x) for a series of samples of the spinel ferrite system ZnxMg0.8-xNi0.2Fe2O4, with x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8. The de conductivity was found to increase with increasing temperature, while it decreases with increasing zinc ion content and porosity. The magnetic transition temperature T-S and Curie transition temperatures T-C decrease, while the activation energy for conduction increases as the magnesium ions are progressively replaced by nonmagnetic zinc ions.
