摘要
Hydrodynamic dispersion in networks of capillaries of random permeabilities is calculated with an exact method for various widths of the permeability distribution. When scaled with an adequate dispersion length L(d), the dependence of the dispersion coefficient D on the Peclet number Pe is independent of disorder. Results show the relation between dispersion and flow rate fluctuations, and are consistent with a percolation model for wide permeability distribution. They are in good agreement with experimental data obtained for sandstone and sintered glass beads.
