Using ac inductive method, magnetization curves of some high-Tc superconductors, ordinary ceramic YBCO and BPSCCO as well as melt processed YBCO, were obtained in the frequency range 10 similar to 500Hz with field amplitudes below 0.3T. Then ac losses were calculated as a function of a field amplitude and were discussed in terms of critical state model, granularity and flux diffusion.
