A LOCATION DISTRIBUTION APPLICATION FOR A BEER COMPANY

In this paper we discuss an application for the location-distribution problem of beer breweries of a company. We develop a mixed integer programming model. We solve the model under a number of different scenarios and present the results. We discuss various phases of the project and explain how we solved some of the encountered difficulties. After the completion of the project the company decided to locate a new brewery at the site we suggested and they intend to implement some other results of the project in the future. They also intend to utilize the developed model and its software for future decisions.
