摘要
Critical antioxidant concentrations in the phenol inhibited autoxidation of a polyether polyol have been determined. These are a figure for quantification of the antioxidant effectiveness under defined oxidation conditions. Within the inhibition period, the oxidation rate decreases with increasing phenol concentration to a different extent, above or below the critical antioxidant concentration. The ratio of chain propagation to termination and the radical efficiency of the hydroperoxide decomposition are evaluated.
