摘要：

Viewing the inflationary dynamics and the associated potential V(phi) as a table of correspondences, we argue, in the light of results from dynamical systems theory and with the help of some examples, that small changes in one could lead to qualitative changes in the behaviour of the other. This could be of importance, particularly in view of the unknown nature of the inflationary potential.
