摘要
The write/erase cyclic characteristics of Co/Pt disks have been studied. A Co/Pt disk with a quadri-layer structure and a Curie temperature of 355-degrees-C attained 10(6) write/erase cycles with a constant carrier-to-noise ratio. For a double-layer structure, the carrier-to-noise ratio decreased at 10(6) cycles because of interfacial mixing due to heating cycles with higher peak temperatures.
