摘要
The ATP/ADP ratios in heterotrophic cell suspension cultures were lowered by adding uncoupler, or by allowing cells to become Pi-limited. The UTP/UDP ratio changes in a similar manner to the ATP/ADP ratio, but the PPi concentration changes independently. These results highlight the importance of PPi as an autonomous energy donor in the cytosol of higher plants. © 1990.
