An apparatus is described for use in time-lapse cinemicrography. The modifications made to the standard shutter mechanism of the Bolex camera offer increased reliability when it is used in a single-frame manner over a long period. A reliable method of firing microflash tubes in synchrony with a short shutter-opening period is also described.
