PENETRATION OF AN ELECTRON-BEAM IN A SOLID MATERIAL - A SIMPLE-MODEL AND A NUMERICAL-SIMULATION

摘要
The fractions of transmitted and absorbed electrons as function of film thickness when the backscattered fraction has become constant have been described by a very simple model. A numerical simulation based on the Kanaya and Okayama electron-electron and electron-nucleus interactions and on the Quinn electron-plasmon interactions has also been written. The model and the numerical simulation are in agreement with the experimental data of Cosslett and Thomas. © 1990.
