摘要
Angiotensin I was synthetized by the solid-phase method and tested in anesthetized rat, cat, rabbit and dog blood-pressure preparations. Removal from the circulation by systemic vascular beds averaged 67%. Pressor responses following intra-aortic injections were half as potent as those resulting from intra-jugular administration. These properties, identical to those of natural equine angiotensin I, suggest that the lungs are the organs where the magnitude and rapidity of circulating angiotensin I conversion is of most physiological significance. © 1968.
