摘要
The spherical siloxanes (HSiO3/2n (n = 8-18) have been separated by size-exclusion chromatography, a technique that allows for preparative separations. These molecules are ideal test-cases for the hard-sphere solute size-exclusion retention theory because of their nearly identical chemical behaviour and their nearly ideal spherical structure. © 1990.
