HALL-EFFECT STUDIES OF THE MIXED-STATE OF Y(1-X)PR(X)BA(2)CU(3)O(7-DELTA) (0-LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-X-LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-0.42) AND YBA2CU3O-Y (6.65-LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-Y-LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-6.84) SINGLE-CRYSTALS

摘要
The maximum value Δ of the negative Hall resistivity ρxy of Y1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7-δ (0≤x0.13) and YBa2Cu3Oy (6.73y≤6.84) single crystals scales with T/Tc, exhibiting a maximum Δmax for T/Tc0.96 and vanishing for T/Tc0.87. Δmax scales with Tc and decreases monotonically with decreasing Tc to zero for Tc70 K. The Hall conductivity σxy vs B data have been analyzed using the expression σxy=C1/B+C2B, where the two terms are associated with motion of the magnetic vortices and the quasiparticles in the vortex cores, respectively, yielding C1 and C2 as functions of x, y, and T. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
