OBSERVATION OF THE ANTI-FERROMAGNETIC ORDER IN METALLIC COMPOUNDS V3S4 AND V3SE4

摘要
The 51V NMR in the metallic V3S4 and V3Se4have been investigated in the temperature range between 1.4 K and 300 K by the phase-coherent pulsed NMR technique. The spin-echo spectrafor V3S4 and V3Se4are broadened rapidly below 9 K and 16 K, respectively, showing the antiferromagnetic long range order below these temperatures. The temperature dependences of the 51V Knight shift, the uniform susceptibility and the hyperfine field which corresponds to the sublattice magnetization are in general accord for both cases with the prediction of the self-consistent renormalization theory for weak itinerant antiferromagnets. © 1979, THE PHYSICAL SOCIETY OF JAPAN.
