DEPENDENCE OF PHOTOCONDUCTING PROPERTIES ON THE COMPOSITION AND BINDER CONTENT OF THE HGI2-CDS MIXED SYSTEM

摘要
A study of the photoconducting properties of the mixed system HgI2:CdS has been conducted. HgI2:Cds, in different proportions, was mixed homogeneously with polystyrene as binder. Current-voltage characteristics (both in the dark and under illumination), response time and activation energy have been studied. The variation of Ip/Id and other characteristics with composition and binder content are explained on the basis of the observed structural changes as observed from X-ray investigations. © 1979.
