NEW METHOD FOR THE GENERATION OF STANDARD ATMOSPHERES OF ORGANO ISOCYANATES

摘要
A new, simple and versatile method has been developed for the generation of standard atmospheres of TDI, hexamethylene diisocyanate, cyclohexylisocyanate, phenylisocyanate, and p-tolylisocyanate using the permeation technique. We foresee a number of applications of this method for validating and evaluating analytical methods and instruments used to measure organo-isocyanates. This technique can also be used in inhalation challenges and/or for controlled exposure of animals to isocyanates in toxicological studies. Copyright 1979, American Industrial Hygiene Association
