TREATMENT OF HEMOPHILIA A AND VON WILLEBRANDS DISEASE PATIENTS WITH AN INTRANASAL DRIPPING OF DDAVP

摘要：

A highly concentrated new vasopressin, 1-deamino-8-D-arginine vasopressin, DDAVP was dripped intranasally to normal subjects, mild hemophilia A and von Willebrand's disease patients. Intranasal administration of DDAVP shortened act PTT and increased VIII:C, VIIIR:AG and VIIIR:WF. Tooth extraction, hematuria and joint pain in those patients were controlled well by this method without administration of factor VIII. An intranasal drip of DDAVP seems to be an applicable way to control hemorrhagic tendencies of hemophilia patients. © 1979.
