摘要
The lithium-lithium hydride process serves to generate hydrogen from water efficiently, using the high temperature heat of a nuclear reactor. Thermodynamic analyses show that hydrogen can be produced with an overall thermal efficiency of 48% at conventional HTR outlet temperatures of 950 degree C. Assuming helium heat of 1300 degree C, 56% overall thermal efficiency can be achieved.
