摘要
Male Holtzman rats served as Ss. Habituation produced in 1 ear transferred only slightly to the opposite ear. Recovery of the habituated head-shake response proceeded rapidly during the 1st 30 min., then more slowly, with only slight retention present at 6 hr. It is concluded that habituation of the head-shake response involves the interaction of short-term decremental and incremental effects occurring within single trials with a longer term frequency decrement occurring across trials.
