摘要
This paper is concerned with representing human reliability in terms of a fuzzy set because of the unpredictability of human performance. The concept 'error possibility' is proposed to represent human reliability. First of all, this fuzzy set is defined by the triplet of the error rate. The fuzzy expression represents our feeling that human error may exist even if the error rate is very small. However, human reliability is not necessarily defined by the error rate alone. This paper also suggests that the fuzzy expression of human reliability is defined by all the factors required for the task: the error rate, the time required, and so on. An experiment on a microcomputer has been performed to find the important factors for the representation of human reliability.
