Five hundred and one consecutive uterosalpingograms over a 5 year period have been reviewed. These have been done in a consistent manner with Lipiodol. The primary indication for the test was infertility, although some were done for gynecologic reasons. The uterosalpingogram findings are tabulated. It is suggested that uterosalpingography has a therapeutic effect in overcoming the tubal factor in infertility. Complications were less than 1 per cent, and these are discussed. © 1969.
