摘要：

Computation of theoretical electron diffraction images has confirmed the observation of an a⟨110⟩ + a⟨001⟩ dislocation pair in beta-brass. The pair probably results from the splitting of a 70° a⟨111⟩ dislocation, although elastic anisotropy theory predicts that the observed reaction is energetically neutral. © 1969 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
