摘要
Scintillations of a KMgF3 crystal have been detected in a parallel-plate avalanche chamber with a TEA gaseous photocathode; the scintillation signal is shown to be much higher than the direct-ionization one. The characteristic properties of calorimeters based on such a structure with electrical and optical readout are discussed. © 1990.
