摘要
Literature data on jet penetration of a fluidized bed were reviewed. Available correlations for determining the jet penetration depth of a single jet were compared with the jet penetration data for multiple jets. A new correlation based on the two-phase Froude number was proposed that correlated the data to within ±40%, including both single-jet and multiple-jet data obtained in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional beds. © 1979, American Chemical Society.
