DOPPLER-FREE LASER SPECTROSCOPY OF ATOMIC COPPER IN A HOLLOW-CATHODE DISCHARGE

摘要
The isotope shift and hyperfine structure of the 5782 and 5105 Å (3d10 4p2P0 - 3d9 4s2 2D) laser transitions of Cu were examined using laser saturation spectroscopy. The atomic cooper density was generated in a hollow cathode discharge. This work demonstrates the suitability of the hollow cathode discharge to high-resolution spectroscopy of non-valatile materials. © 1979.
