摘要
A strategy for equal area pole figure coverage for texture measurements is introduced. It uses a regular hexagonal grid in equal area projection which can be adjusted according to the desired angular resolution. Two-dimensional splines are used to interpolate values for the conventional "angular (5-degrees x 5-degrees)-grid" which are standard for most ODF calculations. Correctly adjusted to the sufficient resolution for the given texture sharpness, the method can result in drastic reductions in measuring time without loss of experimental information.
