INTERACTION BETWEEN SOLITON PAIRS IN A DOUBLE SINE-GORDON EQUATION

摘要：

Results are reported for the numerical simulation of the scattering between a soliton-antisoliton pair for the double-Sine-Gordon equation. The final states of scattering as a function of initial energy can be the formation of a bound state (Breather mode), hard-core repulsion or particle conversion. A speculation about the occurrence of multi-particle production in the final state is also discussed. © 1979 IOP Publishing Ltd.
