CATION DIFFUSION-COEFFICIENTS IN CSCL-H2O SYSTEM OVER THE CONCENTRATION RANGE 0.009 TO 10.00 M-CENTER-DOT-DM(-3) AT 25-DEGREES-C

摘要
The diffusion coeffients of the cation in CsCl-H2O system has been measured using Cs-134 tracer over the concentration range 0.009-10.00M.dm(-3) by sliding cell technique at 25 degrees C. The concentration dependence of the diffusion coefficient shows the validity of Onsager's limiting law in dilute solutions. The results were compared with the data available in the literature. The diffusion data have been used to calculate the ionic mobility and frictional coefficients to get a clear understanding of the isothermal vectorial transport process occurring in aqueous cesium chloride system.
