DISSIPATIVITY OF AN OPTICAL CHAOTIC SYSTEM CHARACTERIZED VIA GENERALIZED MULTISTABILITY

摘要
We present experimental evidence of three different kinds of collisions in a laser with modulated losses and we show that the existence of them is related to the relative overlap of coexisting attractors in the parameter space. The generalized multistability is a quantitative indicator of the dissipativity of a dynamical system and we use it to determine the behavior of the dissipation as a function of the parameters.
