POLYANILINE THERMAL-STABILITY - COUNTER ION SIZE EFFECT ON ELECTRONIC-STRUCTURE AND ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY

摘要
The thermal stability of chemical and electrochemical polyanilines are investigated by UV-visible absorption, XPS and IR spectroscopy. The electrical conductivity is measured by the four probe method. The polymer deprotonation can be limited by using bully dopants. Nevertheless, at high temperature, these dopants strongly modify the structure. Tertiary nitrogens and quinone forms are detected.
