摘要
Acceptance of the quadrupole mass filter in the intermediate region separation mode near the operation tip at a = 3.16429 and q = 3.23408 have been calculated. The fringing input fields have been taken into account using the phase space dynamic approach for a range of ion axial velocities. The optimal axial ion velocity is found to be 2.5 times higher than that for a normal operation, and is equal to approximately 1.25 r0f.
