摘要
Three categories of UOP(R) UNIDOX(TM) precious metal supported catalysts on washcoated cordierite monolith have been studied for the oxidation of VOCs and halogenated VOCs. These catalysts are classified as low-temperature oxidation catalyst (LTC), high-temperature oxidation catalyst (HTC) and halocarbon oxidation catalyst (HOC). The catalysts LTC and HTC showed high destructive efficiencies and excellent stability when treating CO and various hydrocarbon emissions to form CO2 and H2O. HOC is stable and highly active in destroying halocarbons to form CO2, H2O, and halogen acid. The temperatures required for complete oxidation depended on the organic component class present and its contact time.
