摘要
Experiments are described in which the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) microimaging is used to observe in vivo freezing induced damage to flowers to Ribes nigrum. An increase in the free water signal in the stylar and ovular regions of the flowers was observed after freezing, as a result of tissue disruption in these areas.
